bird passed his 2nd paper for ccnp today, i m so proud of him!

finally, my pc allowed me to format it -_- bird bought a new network adapter for me. beng & elly gave me a good wireless router modem. with everybody's help, i have my internet connection back! =D no need to blog/check mail/ surf net over the night @ bird's place, my headache gone too! la la la...

 

got a phonecall from yongdar lastnight. he said 无事不登三宝殿, he has got married (i knew~) and the dinner will be held in JB at 07-Jan-07, asked me if i will go... ha ha ha ha... greetings to yongdar : 祝你们幸福快乐! but hoh, think i m not attending leh =X not very close with him in fact, he just asked politely bah~ if it happens that every of my high sch classmates invited me for their wedding, then i have to attend 40++ wedding and give out 40++ ang bao?! tat's siao man! HA HA HA HA...

 

wanted to go jogging with bird early in the morning, but bird couldnt make it cos he was tooo sleepy (he went out after work for bball and helped benny with those childish following game and got home after 3am). okay, plan postponed to sunday morning. we went McD @ holiday plaza for bf/lunch. as soon as we bought our food, we found a lot of vacant seats in the area near the children playground and we sat down n ate. then my eyes' 余光 saw a man lying on the floor. i should say "a body" instead.

 

yea yea yea, i saw a dead body lying on the ground of McD/holiday plaza -_- he should be a middle age man, chinese. at first, we didnt know it was a dead body leh... it took us a few seconds to realise, oh god, his face was covered with newspaper! and obviously, he was not breathing liao. and then, there is sth i found it so strange.
 
there were 2 cops, or, detectives (cos they werent on uniforms) sitting there and i think they were recording statements from the deceased's family/witnesses. another lady cop in uniform was standing next to the body, 3 security guards standing by the fence, or i should say, they were leaning against the fence -.-, chitchatting. the whole scene was not bounded at all, there were passengers passing by and walking here n there in the area near the body. children were playing in the playground too -_-"

 

cy: wads wrong with these ppl! why they stil let the body lying there?
bird: ... ...
cy: they should make a boundary and prohibit ppl from walking here n there into the scene rite?
bird: yah
cy: seems like the deceased's family already finished crying n calm down liao, then means this happened for some time before we reached, how come the body is stil lying there without being covered?!
bird: ... ...
cy: haiz... *touchedwood!* if i were them, i'll sure do sth to it. i wont let my kins to 曝尸街头 like tat!
bird: ... ...

 

then we continued eating. a few minutes later, we saw an indian carrying a big card board (from card box) and gave it to the security guards who were stil leaning on the fence n chitchatting. the sucurities were so clumsy or they are afraid of deadbody, they just cant cover it on the body after a few fake attempts. the helpful indian guy cannot tahan watching and took over the cardboard and covered the body. i really show my respects to the helpful indian leh~ before that, there was a reporter (i guess he is, cos he was using a pro camera, but not wearing like a typical reporter) who came n took a few pictures of the body and the officers.

 

when we were abt to finish our meal, a few young men (supposed to be the relatives of the deceased) came back with a piece of white cloth and covered the body. haiz... finally someone did something.

At night, lei came pick me up, dinner date with lei n CF. we went to a sushi restaurant at the jalan opposite of plaza plg. oh fren, don ever visit tat restaurant, the food sucks! sashimi were frozen fish, food were lousy but costly! i really don understand why there were stil a jap family eating happily next to us? is it bcos we non-jap are more used to our own style of jap food?

 

well, we continued our second round dinner at my favourite pikachu restaurant =D they have new menu! la la la... finally, 3 of us were very satisfied with the food there. it was a treat from lei n CF for my BD. yipeeee~ =P

bird overslept so we missed our jogging plan again. afternoon, my 舅舅 and my 阿姨 came to visit us. gosh! they just cant let me off... "u haben found a job?", "why?", "faster go simply find a job do first lah", "how come your house so messy?", "worse than my house leh.. u never tidy up ah?"... etc.

 

zzzzzzzzzzz...

 

lei came to my rescue =D we went holiday plaza to look for wedding gift for peiwen. when we passed by a magazine shop, i recognised tat 2 security guards i saw the day b4. they were flipping thru a chinese newspaper sin chiew daily. well, i don think they can read our language lah, think they just gey-po wanna see pictures -.- haiz~

 

couldnt find suitable gifts so we went metrojaya @ plaza plg. lei n i did some shopping after we selected a gift, and we bought ourselves some nice lingerie which were on sales, heh =P

went singapore to meet suki, shirley and elly for dinner. they gave me a treat at causeway point's crystal jade, ho ho~ i still received gifts from them leh, so paiseh, get free meal stil received presents. elly gave me a davidoff cool water and shirley gave me a mark's lip gloss set. aiyo... i feel bad leh, if i have income, then i can give them a treat le, sooooo embarassed.

 

 

we eat n talk n eat n talk, till we forgot to take pictures of us! ala~ >< in the end, i stil grabbed a second hand wireless router from ah beng n got a free ride to woodlands checkpoint leh =P

 

only managed to snap pictures of my food using my stupid phone camera (forgot to bring along my digital camera), the rest was supposed to be taken care by suki de, but in the end, the pictures cannot be used leh, she was tooo hungry until she simply took those pictures!

oh no... i cant believe this. elly and ah beng gave me a wireless router modem on monday night (after outing with elly, suki and shirley @causeway pt). when i reached home n tried using happily, i realised not just my modem was spoilt, so was my network card! =S zzzzzzz... tat is not the worst... my pc has been having the problem to hang / auto-rebooting and now system file kept missing/corrupted and i tried so many times repairing still cant fix it! now i cant enter windows at all~ haiz.... 一波未平一波又起... ARGGGHHHH~ i need a new pc =(

 

it's shopping time! :D

 

Modem kena struck by thunder on friday afternoon -_-

new 2 port router modem, still under warranty but cannot claim/fix bcos it was on exception -- struck by thunder.

no internet access from now on till i get a new modem, perhaps on PIKOM pc fair next week.

oh god, why is such thing happening to me?
